Alaska - HDR Style Pictures

All of these pictures in this gallery are processed through a process called High Dynamic Range processing...or HDR for short. Google HDR and you will find many many photos like this. The effect can make things look as it our human eyes saw it, or can make it more surreal. I like to go for more realistic look. It seems that everywhere we went, the storm was just coming in or was just leaving. Sunlight barely creeps in in this picture as you can see the storm clouds taking over.

This was on our way to Denali National Park to see Mount Denali (aka Mt. McKinley). While I was taking the picture, Jana was swatting away the mosquitoes. There were soooo many of those here. Also, the place where we are standing is not stable at all. I believe we were over some of the water filled by swamps.

This is on our way out of Seward, Alaska. The one day we had sunshine, we were actually traveling to Denali!

This was on our first day in Alaska driving towards Seward, AK from Anchorage. You can see the storm coming in from the left.
